Want to learn what’s happening on District 5 roads and highways? Come to my District 5 State of the Roads Town Hall where you will hear updates on major projects and local transportation priorities. You’ll also learn how to report issues and sign up for road impact notifications, all in one place.
The District 5 State of the Roads Town Hall will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m. at Highlands Park Senior & Community Center in Ben Lomond (8500 Highway 9).
Representatives from the County’s Community Development & Infrastructure Department, Public Works Division and state transit agency Caltrans will provide an overview of major roadwork priorities in District 5, discuss storm preparation activities, and share tools for reporting and other road-related resources. Other panelists include the Santa Cruz County Office of Response, Recovery & Resilience, Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, and Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission. Panelists will answer questions about road projects and emergency preparedness; we will not be addressing traffic enforcement issues at this town hall.
Doors open at 5:45. Come early for refreshments and to pick up resource materials.
